A Peppercorn Ranch Dressing

This is good as dressing recipe. It’s similar to a ranch dressing, but with a little extra pop from the peppercorns. By using the low fat mayonnaise and buttermilk, you hold the calories to 25 per serving, rather than the 80 in commercial ranch dressing. If you can’t find low fat buttermilk, you can use buttermilk powder and skim milk and only end up with a few more calories.
Ingredients
- 1 cup (225 g) low fat mayonnaise
- 1 cup (235 ml) low fat buttermilk
- 2 teaspoons dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dill weed
- 1 teaspoon black peppercorns, coarsely cracked
Preparation
Mix all ingredients together well efficient kitchen mixer, then refrigerate.

To divide this into as many portions as you want to use it:
- When you’re done preparing this, measure it with a good kitchen scale.
- Note the weight.
- If you intend to use it for, let say 10 times, divide its weight by 10 to know the weight of every portion you’ll be taking.
